PIRATEx, founded in 2010, is the company behind for some of the most unconventional and authentic tech & startup events in Germany, Europe and around selected cities around the world. The PIRATEx team works hard to bring together more than 15,000 participants annually during events such as PIRATE Summit, OMClub, EXEC (Fintech & Insurtech) as well as Startup SAFARI. Our purpose is always to create platforms for meaningful connections
We are looking for a driven, structured and enthusiastic Product Assistant who will join our lovely crew. Located at the STARTPLATZ co-working space, we offer a flexible and professional work environment. Anforderungsprofil
What we are looking for
Important skills for the job:
- A creative mind & a healthy sense of humour
- A fair amount of craziness (the good crazy)
- The ability to self-organize and work under pressure
- High affinity towards complex organisations and time management
- A passion for Event creation
- You have at least 1-2 years of professional working experience as a project and/or event manager/coordinator
- Very good English and German in speaking and writing
Helpful skills for the job:
- Experience in Excel and Photoshop
- A passion for technology & startups
Deine Aufgaben
Next to being ARRRsome, your responsibilities will be:
- Creating, organizing and managing the perfect PIRATEx event experience for our event portfolio (PIRATE Summit, OMClub, Startup SAFARI, EXEC etc.)
- Together with the Event Team: organizing the PIRATE Week in June 2020 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of PIRATE Summit (One week, 5 events)
- Taking responsibility for small projects in the event organisation
- Communicating and coordinating with our exhibiting startups, participants and suppliers
- Ensure the PIRATE quality standards throughout our events
- Ensure knowledge transfer within the team and cross-department
